2. December/January birthday gifts
If there are family members or friends with birthdays near the holiday season on December and January, you can buy them gifts that double up as both Christmas and birthday gifts while you’ shopping around for your Christmas gifts. This will save you money that you would have used to go back to the gift shops to look for other birthday gift when those birthdays come up. Care should however be applied when trying to double up gifts as both Christmas and birthday and should only be done when the two occasions are close together.
3. Budgets for Holiday decorations
There really are a lot of costs that go into the decoration of the house and the compound to make it ready for the actual holiday. 4. New Year’s celebration’s expenses
This day comes the same week as Christmas and should be therefore budgeted with Christmas. Since you will use different decorations from those in Christmas, you should also budget for them. Most people are usually strained financially by the time that they get t new year, this will be a good time for you to come together as friends and have a single party where you can celebrate and share costs.
5. Normal expenses
