AUTHOR : SIVA NAGI REDDY. G Krishna River and Prakasam Barrage: Prakasam Barrage which stretches 1223.5 meter long across the Krishna River serves to prevent flooding in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The barrage also serves as a road bridge. One can also see the three canals associated with the barrage and a panoramic lake which run through the city of Vijayawada. The Prakasam Barrage project has helped in the irrigation of huge agriculararl lands in the state. The placid waters make this one of the major travel attractions in Vijayawada.

This is a TWV Japan sample video. I personally shot this video at Nagoya Castle, Nagoya, Japan on a visit a few seasons ago. This is a typical asian video entry I would post on the TravelWorldVideos site once that site gets revived. I have a number of videos from other locations in Japan, and other asian travel attractions. I have 120+ GBs inventory of vacation SD/HD cam footage, including some UNESCO certified World Heritage Sites, to populate the revived site with, once that revival comes back up online.

Do you want to go some where on holiday? Are you in a confused state on the place you should visit? Well maybe what you need are world travel guides.

There are many websites on the internet that give you the chance to learn more about the place you want to visit for a fee or even for free. This means that no matter which part of the world you want to visit, you will always have a guide on how to go about the whole thing.

You might want to visit a certain part of the world and be looking for best holiday deals. If you are not well versed with the place you want to visit then might end up having a really bad time.

If you want to really enjoy the world travel attractions the best way, try these guides. It does not matter where you are visiting, you can’t afford to waste your money, getting lost and even getting mugged. These guides are exactly what you need to ensure that your visit to any destination is more than fun.

When you get a service from one of these guide companies, you are taken to the most exotic places in that country you are visiting; avoiding all the unnecessary delays that might occur if you were traveling alone. You are also being protected from any dangers that might be pending along the whole way. This gives you the chance to have fun and relax knowing that your time in that country will be great.

This is a TWV asian sample video. I personally shot this video at Ocean Park, Hong Kong, on a visit a few seasons ago. This is a typical asian video entry I would post on the TravelWorldVideos site once that site gets revived (actually I had it on the old site, but in a smaller format). I have a number of videos from different events in that park, and many other locations in Hong Kong and other asian travel attractions. I have 120+ GBs inventory of vacation SD/HD cam footage to populate the revived site with, once that revival comes back up online.

Bremen is known to be a marvelous urban area, a metropolis that has about 3,000,000 denizens, without counting the great number of visitors arriving every year. It is a really old town, about 2,000 years old, and this denotes the fact that guests have many things to discover there, as Germans are very fond of their historic heritage. In Bremen one can see entire avenues with houses older than four hundred years.

Picture yourself taking a stroll in the Schnoor, a street that formerly was occupied by boatmen and fishermen, and that was renovated with great responsibility, keeping intact the 17th century ambiance. These days this avenue is a place where tourists can see rustic cafes, art galleries and artisan shops. It is quite a charming recreational activity for any traveler.

The cultural side of the city is very important, and sightseers love visiting the world famous museums and being present at the plays at the Bremer Theater, this being an unforgettable experience for art lovers of the world.

One of the most interesting museums is the Focke Museum, an impressive place, putting on display items of art, history, and culture. Oftentimes it houses photo exhibits from renowned photographers and painting galleries of the most appreciated modern-day painters. But, as a matter of fact, the Focke Museum shows its visitors lots of “stuff”, and this means chairs, fishing nets, knives, clothes, hammers… you get my point. What makes them valuable is their age. Who wouldn’t appreciate seeing stuff that men and women used in their everyday lives centuries ago? The exhibit is very interesting, with items dating back to the Roman Empire, newly uncovered from the town archeological digging efforts that take place even now, in 2010.

A popular attraction of the Focke Museum is a real Hansekogge, a ship that was quite common in this city around the year 1350. Lots of sailors and fishermen used this type of boat to make a living, although it was designed to be a rescue ship. It had a unique design, as only some city ports on the continent were using it, and, if there were boats like these in other ports, you could be certain they were either built in Bremen, or the design was stolen and someone made a replica.

One other place to see is the Bremen Theater, for men and women who love music and plays. It is a very large building, and itwas the home of some big time concerts and plays all through the last century which gave the theater a big boost in popularity. Only the greatest artists and musicians manage to have their show here, which gives us the certainty that this theater is quite attractive and this is the reason it always sells out all the tickets hours before the show starts. If you wish to go there, you will need to buy a ticket a few days before the concert, show or play you want to attend to.

Anyway, the conclusion is that Bremen is a town that has much to offer to its inhabitants and even more to show its tourists, and a week in this city can mean a lot to men and women who want to make a tour in an extraordinary place for the holidays.

India is one of the most wonderful places to travel to. Definitely a must see, India has captured at least 5 million foreign travelers alone every year, and that number does not include the domestic travelers who, in spite of growing in India, have never failed to see the marvel that they have with their country. If you are one of the million viewers of Incredible India or have known enough reasons why you can’t miss India, we have here written three shopping guides for India travel guide to help make your backpacking a breeze.

Choose what you want to see. You may want to see all the famous places in India, but if you are not staying there for a month, then you can’t see them all. In choosing an India travel guide, make sure that you know exactly what you want because chances are you really can’t see everything you want in your itinerary.

In spite of the volume of India travel guide published annually, it is like a public secret that not any single one of those has everything you need to know. So make sure that you before you shop for a travel guide, you have already decided on your traveling goals and know exactly what you want to see when you get there.

Have something convenient. For some, having to always bring a travel guide is really inconvenient. This is why most travelers prefer the downloadable city guides. Once you purchased an India travel guide online, you can freely download a copy of the map to your reader or phone. And what’s best about these digital travel guides is that you can easily merge whatever map you have installed in your phone so you can have a more accurate or precise imaging of the places you want to go to.

Know how long will you stay. Sure you want to come back for more after you have visited a number of famous India travel attractions. So you think that it’s always best to buy a $500 since you know you will be using it for your travels. This is definitely one of the many mistakes most travelers make when shopping for an India travel guide.

The logic is that the purpose played by your travel guide is only good as your intended stay; if you booked a weekend trip, I don’t really see the point of wasting $500 on a guide. A good rule of thumb: The shorter your stay, the better investment is an area-specific and smaller travel guide.

Kolkata developed from a fishing village to become the capital of British India. Known as the city of intellectuals, has strong cultural and literary heritage. The city has progressed and adapted to modernity, but has retained its quiet lifestyle and slow. Kolkata India has largest network of underground and buildings that are over a hundred years old.

Previously known under the name “Calcutta” and the sense of having many of the word such as joy, Crowdy, historical, and more, this place has witnessed some important events in Indian history. Initially a village, today this place is emerging as a major metropolitan city in India. Calcutta was also the first British capital and served as a British trading port. Trip to Kolkata

The Battle of Plassey was fought here, in which the Nawab Siraj ud Daullé was defeated by Lord Clive. It remained the capital city and therefore some witnesses of cultural evolution and legacy of British rule. This place is also a center for the gourmets as here you will find a variety of Bengali sweets which are irresistible to eat.

This place has a uniform temperature throughout the year between 10-30 degrees, but humidity levels can be high because it is located near the sea. This is the reason that cotton clothing is seen here locally.

You must visit the place once and do not leave empty handed after visiting this place.

Located at Dum Dum, Kolkata Airport is 18 km from the city and gateway to the North Eastern States. First cargo terminal in India was established in Calcutta airport in 1975.
