    Yeah, I’ve been there too, and though the atmosphere was really odd, there was no “physical evidence” of paranormal activity. But no, it wasn’t prisoners…that’s Belle Isle.

    Oh shit, I worked there, at Haunts of Richmond….the Bergmans are amazing, and they just came out with a book about Haunted Richmond, I totally recommend it.

    While I have not personally seen anything, the accounts seem to be to prolific to be ignored. Witnesses include toll-booth workers, drivers, and even police officers. They all report the same things, and it seems to go along with local history, too.

    Hey I live in Virginia, and in my hometown theres a road nearby where I live that says its haunted by a lady who got killed there and her body was never been found

    I went off information that was given to me by the Virginia Historic Society….that’s also where some of the pictures came from…

    I have been to that tunnel looking ,never heard or seen anything ,I thought it was prisoners that died under there
